Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Statok app, provided by Ovcharenko M. H., sole proprietor (FOP) (“we”). By installing or using Statok, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Statok is a tool for personal finance tracking and planning. It helps you record and review accounts, transactions, budgets, and assets.

Your account

Using the app requires signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity that happens within it.

Statok Pro and subscription

Some features are available only with a paid Statok Pro subscription. The price and billing period are shown on the subscription screen before you subscribe.

The subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time; Pro access remains until the end of the paid period. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by the store where you subscribed (the App Store), under its rules.

When a subscription ends, your data stays in your account and Pro features become unavailable. We may change the price and contents of Pro; a new price applies from the next period, and the store will notify you in advance.

Rules of use

Statok is meant for tracking your own finances. By using it, you agree not to break the law and not to interfere with the service.

Not financial advice

Statok provides information and tracking tools, but is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Exchange rates, market prices, and calculations are provided “as is” and may be inaccurate or delayed. Decisions are your own responsibility.

Finny AI

Finny is an assistant built on a language model. It suggests categories, reads statements, and proposes actions. Like any artificial intelligence, Finny can make mistakes: miss a transaction, misread an amount or date, suggest the wrong category. Check the result before relying on it — especially after importing a statement.

Use of Finny is subject to your plan’s limit. What data Finny sends to the model is described in the Privacy Policy.

Family access

You decide who sees what, and you can revoke access at any time. A person you gave access to sees only what you shared — the selected accounts with their transactions and the budget — and none of your other data. They may remember or copy what is shared, so share only with people you trust. Don’t pass the invitation link to anyone else.

Third-party services

The app works with third-party services: bank statements, exchange rates and market prices, and Finny’s language model. We are not affiliated with banks and are not responsible for data provided by third-party services. Your use of them is governed by their terms; they are listed in the Privacy Policy.

Your data and backups

Your data is yours. You can export it and delete your account any time in the app. We recommend keeping periodic backups — data cannot be recovered after deletion. A backup file contains your financial data in plain form; keeping it safe is your responsibility.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, or for data loss arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting your account. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription made through the store — cancel it in the store’s settings. We may suspend access if these Terms are violated.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, unless mandatory rules require otherwise.
